Speaking Activity - Animal Show and Tell

Objective: Develop speaking skills and vocabulary related to animals.

Materials:

- Flashcards of different animals

- Computer with projector or whiteboard

- Timer or stopwatch

Duration: 20-30 minutes

Instructions:

Introduce the activity by explaining that each student will have the opportunity to share information about their favorite animal.
Show a picture or present a stuffed animal as an example and provide a brief description of the animal.
Distribute pictures or stuffed animals to each student.
Give students a few minutes to think about and prepare what they want to share about their animal.
Start the timer and have each student take turns presenting their animal, describing its appearance, habitat, and any interesting facts they know.
Encourage classmates to ask questions or share their thoughts after each presentation.
Use the whiteboard to note down key vocabulary words related to the animals discussed.
Finally, we will play a memory game on the whiteboard.
