Writing Activity - My Mysterious Animal

Objective: Develop writing skills and foster imagination by describing an invented animal.

Materials:

-Blank paper or notebooks

-Pencils or crayons

- Adjectives about animals

-Story: "Can I help you?"

Duration: 40-45 minutes

Instructions:

1. Explain to the students that they will create and describe an animal invented by themselves (For example, an animal with 3 eyes, 7 fingers, 2 heads...).
2. Provide each student with blank paper or a notebook.
3. Ask the students to think of an imaginary animal with unique and special characteristics.
4. Remind them to use complete sentences and be creative in their writing. To help them, we will provide vocabulary to make it easier.
5. Once they have finished writing, they can color their animal and each child can share their writing with the class or a partner. They can read their descriptions aloud, and the other students can try to guess how the mysterious animal would look.
6. After completing the activity, we will project the story: "Can I help you?"
